Serenity

by Wings Of Flames   Sep 7, 2006

The white sheet is open,
Splatters of bloody red,
It's up dancing in the wind,
As the tears are shed and shed,

Still the bombs are quaking,
Breaking every man alive,
'Charge!,' calls the enemy,
I fear we shan't survive,

White flag at it's highest peak,
Still the demons call for more,
Cowardice and sentimental,
And each wound stinging raw,

Captain upon darkest horse,
Riding from screaming distress,
Into the mountain mists,
With his anxiety to caress,

In the battlefield they lie,
Hands strapped to their sides,
Betrayed and forbidden minds,
But the memories won't subside,

Maimed in the darkness,
As daylight falls to dusk,
The sun bleeds over corpses,
And the putrid scented musk,

Never will I forget,
That day I lost that war,
Never will I forget,
The day I hit the floor.

Absolutely amazing. How can someone so young have such a vivid imagination and such a raw talent. I do not know the answer to this. But you have what I was talking about. I love your poetry. 5/5 =]
