To Come

by Poetess Lana   Sep 7, 2006

Wash away the pain in the
River of Blood. Sing the
Hebrew prayer and make
them listen to their sins.

Join in the calling of love
to the one least likely
to love back, the as they
leave forever, whisper
Goodbye Love, and turn away.

Cry out in despair as you
realize your love will never
be seen again, and wonder
how you fell so hard, so deep
into this love that it seems
nearly impossible to love again.

Kiss your love goodbye as
they walk out the door and
quietly say, "I'll love you, forevermore."

Very emotional and heartbreaking. Excellent job with the flow and format of the poem. The tone created in this touched the senses and established a tasteful atmosphere. Truly wonderful. :]
