In My Eyes

To see you so happy,
I have to grin.
But I see you so differently,
I don't know what to think.
I can't act the same,
Because you no longer accept me.
If I did act the same,
You'd just reject me.
I love you so much,
But so far apart we've grown.
It's not the same,
I just don't understand.
For me,
It's like trying to catch memories n the wind.
So all that is left for me to do,
Is cry over the loss.
Without anyone to wipe my tears,
Or to scare away all my fears.
In my eyes, this is just a cruel game.
