Live With Me In My Grave

by End Of Eternity   Sep 8, 2006

Your fading picture at the wall
sometimes whisper in my ears
asking me for that sweet love
which we cherished all these years

and we wonder if those days
could ever come back again
even if its just for one last time
looking at each other without pain

it's that little hope that drives us all
earth is far too big to ever shatter
so live with me as a burning candle
when light we spread is all that matters

i know you look at my fading picture too
as its simple than coming face to face
though we both walk in same territory
but ignore to step over our own trace

come and live with me in my grave
to know the depth of my miseries
feel the walls all around my clay
with your pictures as my only memories

For some reason that line got to my heart. I don't know why but i felt a pang as i read it.
My only option is to conclude that your poetry gets to my heart.
So well done to you =)

Oh, what a poem. Day by day you're getting better at writing these ironic love poems. As I read all the comments, I see that everyone loves the way you wrote it and and meaning of it. And it makes me smile, because only a blind can understand his darkness. Anyways, awesome poem. I really loved it.
