That one weekend

by Josiah Larson   Sep 8, 2006

Ever get sick of hearing,
I'm sorry about this weekend,
I never meant to do anything,
I just wasn't myself.

I gave you all my trust,
Just for you to waste,
And throw it away for lust,
Leaving me in sorrow.

I really thought you was the one,
But wait; let me think about that,
Let me remember of what you've become,
Just let me be, just let me cry.

I'm sure you'll never learn,
About the true meaning of love,
Until one day your heart starts to burn,
For this one special man.

Don't bother coming back to me,
You had your chance,
Now let me be,
So I may grow old with out you.
