Feelings where all messed up
they'd gone a stray
Nobody else could help me
had to find my own way

Living in the past
it wasn't easy to do
Damn, it was near impossible
that it would be so hard to let go, I never knew

Someone who was so dear to you
you never ever want to let go
But in the end it's better
They'll always be around, I now know

It was releaving to say goodbye
