Nobody Cares

by ~Someone~   Sep 9, 2006

Screams that can't be heard,
Falling rain like her silent tears.
She spends her life wondering,
Why she was brought into this world.
She wonders why she seems destined to be so lonely.
All she wants is to be loved,
And cared for by someone.
She wants that special someone everyone seems to have.
She wishes she was beautiful,
And she wishes someone would notice her.
Everyday she sits alone,
Wishing she was perfect.
Wondering why no one likes her.
She knows she will never be perfect,
No matter how hard she tries.
No one seems to care,
They don't hear her silent screams.
They don't see her falling tears.
Piece by piece she's falling apart,
Yet no one seems to care.
The seams are ripping a little at a time,
She's ready to break.
She cries herself to sleep at night,
Her dreams are only nightmares.
The seams finally burst
Her mind is in pieces
Her silent screams are now heard
Too little too late
Her tears now noticed
Too little too late
She lies on the floor in the bathroom
Her blood pooled around her like a hole in the world
If only she hadn't been so blind she would see
That she was not alone
She would see that she was loved
By many more people than she could have ever believed
If only she had been able to see,
That everyone cared.
