Silent As Stars.

-Silent As Stars.-

I watch the sun set on the river bed tonight,
As our secrets are held up to the sky,
With my tears shimmering in the dark moonlight,
I can't help myself but to remember your good-bye.

And as my shadow grows, there is nothing left to hide,
As I whisper my sorrows to the rippling pond,
And choke back my tears as I swallow my pride,
Knowing that you are never coming back, forever gone.

My soul is spilling secrets coated in blood,
From the slashes in your tender heart,
And as I fall on my knees in the lake side mud,
I start to tear myself apart.

And as these tears fall down upon my skin,
I erase all of the memories of ours,
And I look up to the angels and begin,
To whisper my secrets as silent as stars.
