Rain like sin

I still feel the rain
dripping down from my soul
and flooding the dark
that surrounds my heart
i feel it trickling down
like sin
i still feel the rain
going over my eyes
to tell me my life isn't real
i still feel this rain
in the pit of my loneliness
so let me sit here
and let it drown me in sorrow
