GRANDMA

by Melissa   Sep 9, 2006

Time goes by
its slipping away
its one more moment
its one more day

One more day
your lay there asleep
i hope and i pray
i get on my knees

there talking of hope
at which theres none
i wish you could read this
hear it as a song

i talk to you as you lay there
in your own little world
can you hear me as you lay there
i dont know its such a blurr

i love you too bits
this you dont know
dont go anywhere grandma
il pray and ill still hope

that you can breathe on your own
that you can walk and you can joke
back to the way you were
please take this lump from my throat!

*My grandma is in hospital on a life support machine, only a day ago we were tlking and laughing and she made her usual joke! Please pray with me that this strong women will pull through and be around for a while longer!*
