Race of Life

by LovelyDivine   Sep 9, 2006

Emotions are going up and down
All you ever see is a frown.
Tears are streaming down my face
For I'll never win this race.

This race that we call life,
Filling us with nothing but strife.
Falling in love, thinking this is it,
But it doesn't seem legit.

My heart is now broken
I guess this is your token
Of how you truly feel,
Now I know it was never real.
