The couldn't tell
The word where written on the wall
It was there fault and none of them knew
There expectations were to high for her
she didn't like the pretending everyday
She just wanted to be herself
Actually have someone lover her for well.. her
But no one knew because no one ever knew her real hopes and dreams
The hurt she endured everyday
The dreading to hear that alarm clock ring.
That was the sign for her to put on her fake smile and pretend nothing had happened to her that other day
That she didn't get hurt by the ones she loves
On the outside shes beauty and glame
Perfect and everything you want
But no one read her journals
No one new what happened behind closed doors
They never seen her with out the make up
They didn't want to look into her eyes that close
Yeah, her life wasn't a open book
But if you really watched you'd see that frown come in every so often
That tear fall
But then hurry and get whipped away
If you seen the writing on the wall
Then you would have known
She needs someone to listen
To hold her tight
Just someone to be there
Someone that wont stop her and talk about there problems
The writing was clear
You just didn't look close enough
You didn't take the time to look
