When everything fell apart you were right there for me,
like a wizard with that magic dust you’d make me smile for all to see.
When I was happy you stood by my side
Someway to make me laugh you could always seem to find
When I could sleep you stayed up late
As if your eyelids were stopped by a little gate
Of course you knew how to turn my frown upside down
When I needed help you got me through
No matter how big the mess i got into
This little poem could never really show
How much this year you have helped me to grow
