Slain

I see myself with you
But that makes me blind
I do some soul searching
There’s nothing to find

I see myself with you
But that makes me burn
My heart turns to ash
What must I learn?

I see myself with you
But that breaks my heart
And it hurts so badly
Knowing we’re apart

I see myself with you
And all I feel is pain
I cry blood
My heart has been slain.
