Blue

I'm sad for no reason
With tears on my mind
I feel like my hope is gone
With some contract I've signed

I know this can't be true
Things just have to get better
But it's getting hard to think positive
As my eyes just get wetter

I won't let a tear drop
My eyes have been red enough
Every tear had its trigger
To be relived with each touch

Back to the memory or feeling
Person or place
I really need to learn to move on
Maybe then I'll be safe

But I remind myself constantly
Of those battles I did lose
And still I wonder if I did right
With the chouse I did choose

I need to remember that smile
The one I swear is true
But it seems so far away
When my mind is this blue
