It Wasn't Her, It Was Him

by Raychil   Sep 10, 2006

It wasn't her, it was him
He's the one who held that blade
While she tried so hard to fight it
He was the cause of the tears she made

Though she thought so much of him
She thought that he would fill her
But now in her tears she realizes
That he's slowly begun to kill her

She lay on her bed bleeding
Black lines running down her face
Curled up, she's praying so hard
That the world she's in is not a real place

He doesn't care about her
He makes her feel so weak
She wants so bad to tell him
But those words, she can't seem to speak

For some reason she still loves him
Herself is all she blames
She can't see that the truth is,
It's him who's causing her pain

No more tears are falling
As the razor slices her skin
Someone was holding it there,
And it wasn't her, it was him.

The people we love...are the people that can hurt us the most. its one of those ironic things that make life so fun! luckily the ones we love can also make us feel the best.
