Dark Angel

Dark Angel, sing to me,
sing to me sweet promises,
fill me with the bliss of your song,
sing away my sorrows,
and become my every joy.

Dark Angel, hold me close,
let me feel the beat of your heart,
hold me tight, keep me safe,
don't ever let me go,
hold me for all eternity.

Dark Angel, take me with you,
let me stay by your side,
take me anywhere, as long as you are there,
whether it be the highest peaks of heaven,
or the fiery depths of hell.

Dark Angel, don't forget me,
remember me well,
if you have to leave me,
at least let me know,
that I will be in your thoughts, your dreams.

*I\'ll admit that this isn\'t one of my very best poems, because I wrote it knowing I would show it to other people, and I was just insecure about showing people my writing. I\'m loosening up, now, so my other poems should be better*
