Alice's dream

by Pondering Thoughts Of Nothing   Sep 11, 2006

I followed Alice into Wonderland,
and escaped all of my troubles.
I chased that rabbit,
That Caterpillar complained,
But i ate the mushroom and escaped.
I met the queen
on the playing card,
A cross women to say nonetheless.
But we danced across the floor,
All over the room,
and before i knew it i was gone.
I drank tea with the March hare,
Tipped my hat to the hatter,
And the wind whisked me away.
In this crazy whirlwind,
how was I to catch my breath?
What an amazing feeling i thought,
Only to find I was just trapped in Alice's dream.
