I met her one night many years ago
At a meeting point where I used to go
Not a meeting as such, more a gathering of friends
Some days of the week but on every weekend

There were boys and girls all in our teens
Laughing and singing the whole night it seemed
Old faces often and new ones a treat
For were only strangers until we meet

The night she joined us she came with a friend
It wasn't mid week, was on the weekend
The moment I saw her I knew right away
That life as I knew it, had ended that day

Love surged within me I thought I would burst
Was singing a song and forgot the verse
I looked straight to wards her and hoped I would see
That the tilt of her head was to glance at me

From that evening on we were seldom apart
Wend go to a movie or walk in the park
Just being with her put a spring in my step
Did the same things together and marriage came next
.
The following years brought us so much joy
Had two lovely children a girl and a boy
They both grew older and moved away
But remain in our hearts and there they will stay
.
As the years rolled by our love just grew
Each passing day brought something new
Be together for always, I think we would
What well share forever, is an Endless Love
