I Long To

I long to wake up with you by my
side, I can't hide the way I feel
about you.
I long to be able to touch your face,
and to be wraped up in your warm
embrace.
I long to hold you close to me
and listen to the beat of your heart.
I'm so glad you are a part of my
life and also a part of me.
It feels so good to be able to
express my feelings to you and
not worry about keeping anything
inside.
Your love provides the warmth I
need on a cold winter night and
the refreshment I need on a hot
summer day.
So I'm ending this poem with one
more thing to say, I'm so glad
God has sent you my way.
