When the rain pours
And I feel the thunder
A power consumes me
From around and under

I feel a rage
Build within my soul
A fierce desire
I scarcely control

I burn and cool
From the heat and rain
Playing with me
As if a game

It inspires me
To express myself
I write these poems
For everyone else

I share my love
Of the world around
And on these pages
It knows no bounds

I can write short
Or forever long
As long as it pours
I'll go on and on

Find your inspiration
And use it for the better
