For Ever, Ever More

by Daniel Puttee   Sep 12, 2006

For Ever, Ever More

I waited 'till I found you,
The vision in my head,
Quickly resurrected,
By those three words you said.

I was destroyed, forgotten, lost,
Like the dawn that's never breaking,
My heart was chained and locked,
With barely a sign of waking.

And I thought that I would never see,
An angel on this earth,
An angel that I love,
For everything i'm worth;;

That lit the fire inside of me,
Which burned out long ago,
And now from deep within my heart,
Your visage starts to flow;;

Filling me with something,
I've never felt before,
Keeping me alive,
For ever, ever more.
