A lady in the train

by Joe Eijyuu   Sep 12, 2006

Suddenly our eyes met in the crowed carriage,
She in the train leaving, I in the arriving train,
Her beautiful eyes are beckoning my signal in return,
Alas, she has gone without knowing my disappointment.
Next morn I waited same time at the point of vantage,
Now I saw her dressed immaculately on Platform Nine,
I made a move and asked her a date; she replied "Fine",
Hooray, tomorrow I am picking her up at her apartment.
When I rang the bell of her place she answered immediately,
We agreed to go to the theatre for Rome and Juliet play,
After show we ate Italian at the restaurant so satisfyingly.
We have enjoyed our play, our food and wine famously,
Although we were bit tipsy I drove her home without delay,
I was to leave her but next morning woke up startlingly.
