As i sat there wondering what we were going to do in P.E. class
a friend asked me, did you hear what happened ? i said no
he had told me the World Trade Center has been hit by planes
i was surprised, i had a Lil shock in me
many people were like, how can this be ?
how can two buildings that were so tall come down so easily ?
they both weighed 500,000 tons and just like that
gone in a matter of seconds like it was no thing
that day, America was hurt, hurt for life
but then again, we are Americans, we stand United
we cant be hurt, we got pride, we have faith
evil can try to bring us down but as always, we will come out on top
to the thousands of innocent life's that were lost cause of a tragedy
you have my condolences. to the firefighters, the cops, the civilians and
to who ever else that tried to help, i thank you guys
you guys were hero's in many eyes, you showed what America is all about
we do care, we do love but we just have an odd way of showing it sometimes
9/11 was a hard day but now we are stronger, We Stand United
