Was That Really You?

by BrokenREALiTy   Sep 12, 2006

Strong scent surrounds me,
The smell of a strong cologne.
The scent of that person,
Who chose to leave me all alone.

Were those really your lips,
That brushed against my finger tips?

I feel a presence around me,
Arms of someone strong.
Someone that chose to decieve,
And do me wrong.

Were those really yours arms,
That protected me from all harms?

I be hearing a voice,
Of someone that I know.
Someone that I used to love,
Who's become a foe.

Was that really your voice calling my name,
When everything was still the same?

Can hear a heartbeat,
Of someone I had love for.
The one that betrayed me,
And then hurt me some more.

The person that used to love me, too,
Was that really you?
