You, Me and Him

by Tegan   Sep 13, 2006

You look at me with your eyes,
You take just one step towards me,
You put your hands on my thighs,
It makes me tremble, don't you see,

I tell you to stop,
Not to go any higher up my leg,
So you put your hands on my top,
I tell you to stop, all i could do was plead, beg,

Then your mate enters the room,
He told you to stop,
To get your hands off my top,
So you left the room,

He sat down beside me,
Said that I didn't deserve to be treated like that,
And that his mate is a jerk that he just couldn't see,
We sat there for hours just having a chat,

He told me his secrets, his wants, his needs,
And i told him my secrets, my wants and my needs,
We looked at our watches it was quarter past 4,
Then he got all weird and didn't want to talk any more,

I thought i had done something wrong,
He had told me i was so strong,
I saw him down the street,
He said if we got together he'd never cheat,
I texted him, he never replied,
It was as if someone in my life had just died,

Thoughts were running through my mind,
How i wanted him to me mine,
How sweet he was, and how kind,
If I saw him, would i step over the line,

The that day i will never forget,
How my heart beated when i saw his face again,
He stood there in the rain, getting all wet,
He held me in his arms and told me his name was Glenn,

As he held me in his arms, He told me that he couldn't stop thinking about me,
And i told him that i couldn't stop thinking about him,
On our love we did agree,
On my face was a big grin,

From that day forward we have been together,
Nothing could pull us apart,
Even through the toughest weather,
In his hands, lies my whole heart.
