Greatest

It's odd how I now have one of few life dreams fulfilled and I am unable to formulate much poetry
Maybe it's the shock
The numbness I feel
After I shocked myself and probbaly most of my friends
By abandoning feelings for a girl
Because feelings for you settled in and I realized who really is everything I want
The sadness came and went like migrating birds
The residuee is a slight numbness amplified by the shock of having my dream come true
I never could have imagined such an event to ever happen to me
Now I have you
I'm happy when with you
I smile with you
We share so many similarities
And I feel as though there will never be another if you were to leave me
Never be one as great as you
You are the greatest
