Not Good Enough

The devil softly whispers the words she knows are true
"No one really cares"
"Alone forever is your destinity"
"It won't hurt for long"
"Just pick up the blade"
"Your not good enough"

She does as he tells her and makes a little cut.
"What was that!?!?"
"A little cut for such a big girl"
"A little sight of blood"
"Thats not good enough"

Not good enough...the truth hurts so harder she pushes the blade to her skin
"Does that even hurt???"
"Does that make it better?"
"You know you want to"
"Its not good enough"

Cuts even deeper, tears rolling down her face
"Aww poor baby"
"A little blood is flooding down your arm"
"Do you need a tissue?"
Devil is smirking and laughing evil.
"Its not good enough"

Full force to her wrist, the blade so deep.
"That was a good one"
"Maybe a little too deep"
"That still wasnt good enough"
Unconscious and not breathing
Blood is everywhere.

She finds herself looking down at her cold body. Death is so near.

That is when she realizes the devil was only herself...........
