He slowly slips the ring onto my finger
But it slides right off as soon as the blood interferes
It drops onto the floor with no sound
I go to pick it up but it turns into a puddle of blood
I stare at the puddle seeing the reflection
The face of a young engaged woman
Although within withering away into depression
My tear joins the puddle of blood onto the floor
Splashing the blood all over my white dress
My dress starts seeping red thru the lace
And my tears trickle faster than before
My true colors reveal themselves beneath
My flesh once peach to a deep color rouge
I fall upon my self in the puddle crying
Until i diminish into what Ive truly have been.
