I Long

I long for you,
I long to hear your voice call my name,
Like the touch of wind in summer,
I long to just stare into your eyes and become lost for an eternity,
I long to just be able to drink you in with my eyes,
I long to simply be near you,
The distances that stretch kill,
The distances that stretch weaken a bond but cannot break it.
I tell you this for I long for you.
