All The Hours Later

by steelpricess   Sep 15, 2006

An hour to pick out an outfit.
and two more to get ready.
Fashionably late as usual
she waits for her boyfriend for a ride.
One hour later she decides to
go by herself.
Two hours later she walks
into a room and interrupts a couple.
When she pauses to apologize,
she realizes who it is
It is her boyfriend who never
picked her up sleeping with a girl with the smell of a woman in the air.
As he realizes who it is that walked in
he tries to reason with her as she
runs away toward her car. He
reaches her just in time for her to
slap him and tell him its over right before
she gets in her car and leaves. He goes
back inside, figuring there is nothing he could do
until morning.
Then come the sirens and everyone runs to avoid the
cops. One hour later when he gets home all the lights are
on and he knows he is in trouble.
He works up the courage and walks in the
house knowing his parents are waiting for him.
Expecting an argument it came as a surprise
when his parents hug him as soon as he
opens the door.
