Shoot the Moon

by Darlene Martin   Sep 16, 2006

Too soon...
Sooting for the doom...
Directing and missing...
You try over and over..
Reasons why I'm gone and now you stay lonely...
Seasons change and so does my love...
Giving in is like the snow time...
And in fall I change my color like night and day...
I brighten like summer with a given smile...
The reasons why your hurting is what I'm missing...
Shoot the moon ...
You miss again..
Once it falls..
My light goes out...
Stopping at the light of red..
And walking through the green green grass walkway...
Spring brings your chance of exception..
Flowers you plucked out wondering if you'd be lonely...
Knowing the reasons why you keep missing..
Shooting at the moon and missing the stars of wishing...
Times you told me you know why you're lonely..
Nights and days...
Its the seasons..
That change our satisfaction..
Shoot the moon..
Cant read my mind...
I'm like a mission unwritten..
Staring at the blank page in front of you..
My face appears..
The words you speak can't be spoken from others..

Very cryptic but i can feel the emotion behind it. I like that style. also do you always write with a ... at the end of each line? nevermind well done!
