Silence

by Daniel Puttee   Sep 16, 2006

Silence

No sound, No objection, No Languish,
To torment me once more,
With the vibration of the sound,
Pounding through the floor.

Passing through my feet,
Making my legs weak,
Pulsing in my ears,
And then I start to freak.

Choking on it all,
Drowned by every tone,
And then the sound, it starts,
To violently drone.

And then there's nothing...

I realise where I am,
Lying on my floor,
And then I am at rest,
With my silent inner core.

The world, it just slows down,
And I open up my eyes,
Listening to the silence,
My soul starts to rise.

And I'm left there thinking,
My eyes slowly blinking,
Listening to the silence,
Being nothing but my guidance.
