Without A Trace

by Midnight Sun   Sep 16, 2006

The snow covering the ground gently.
Floating gracefully on top the tender blades of grass. Accentuating every imperfection imprinted upon the moist dirt.Every wolf's tracks and each deer's nose print traced carefully o'er the land.

The ashy color of the icy blanket lying everywhere. With an occasional crimson petal abed snowy turf, gracing you with its isolated presence. With which will soon follow its end to existence. And will no longer charm the idle eye beholding fields of a frigid embrace.

Wow great way to discribe snow and spring intertwined. it has such an easy feeling or dead and alive. great work.

Good poem. I really liked it. One suggestion, although the word crimson is very descriptive you use it a lot. Maybe try to find a synonym for it. Just a suggestion. Jpoet*
