Where are you when I need you?
You're right there by my side.
You're there when things get dirty,
You're not one to flee or hide.

Where are you when I'm crying?
You are there to make me smile.
And you don't leave in a hurry,
You are there for quite a while.

Where are you when I'm frightened?
You are there to distract me.
You're there to bring the light,
When it's so dark I cannot see.

Where are you when I'm lonely?
You're hanging at the mall.
And I'm right there beside you,
Not feeling left out at all.

Where are you when I'm angry?
On the phone calming me down.
You're special in that way,
You turn a sad day upside down.

I just hope that when you need it,
