What It's Like To Be Nothing

by rachel   Sep 16, 2006

I care about nothing, I am nothing
I am emotionless
Except for depression
Which I'm accustomed to now
I sit here, in this chair, and wither away, and write to my hearts content
Thats all I have left
This paper, this pen
Thats all I want, all I need
Somehow it keeps my mind and body in peace
No need for family, no need for friends
I do not hunger, I do not thirst
I do not hear, I do not speak
It's almost like I'm not alive
All I have is this paper, this pen
All I want, all I need
Someday though that will end
The ink in this pen will run dry
The paper will be completely filled
This day will bring me to my end
