What I see

by Elisabeth   Sep 16, 2006

I was sitting late at night looking at the sky black as an eagles eye.
Rain falling down washing the earth clean.
Listing to the sound of the wind dancing thou the pine trees as it kiss’s my face passing me by.
Crickets singing their harmony, Bullfrogs sitting by the river side.
Deer running so freely through the woods.
So I closed my eyes and wondered what light the morning will bring,
what song will the sparrows sing.
Daylilies flooding the valleys reaching for the sun like lost souls reaching for the light.
Willow trees swinging in the breeze on a bright sunny day.
The mountains standing tall and proud with pride
The sun peeking through the curtains waking me up to say good morning with a pleasant shine.
So I started my day with a feeling I can’t explain.
