I don't know if I will ever understand why......

The things that you do aren't really the cause, it's the things you say that turn me away
Everyday it gets worse it's like we re-hearse for the day that we both with will sway
But that day seems way too far away
To think that it would ever happen
We can't get along
It's like we just don't belong
People say it's just because were mother and daughter but I tend to disagree
We have totally different outlooks on life
We just can't ever agree
This makes us have so much tension between us
That anyone could cut it with a knife
That's why I always try to leave you
But you keep bringing me back
I hate that you do that too

And I know that you will always turn your back
