you said i was the only one
you said our love was meant to be
and that nothing could make it come undone

i believed your words
i returned them full heartedly
i lived and breathed off of those simple lines
because you seemed to mean everything to me
now all i can look back and say is how stupid could i be...

you broke me down
you lied to me
you left me there to drown
in my own tears and misery
you said you didn't love her...
that you only loved me

it kills me now to stand here and see
you standing there by her side
and feed her those same lines you fed to me

now i only wonder
will you break her the same way you did me
or does she really have something better
that makes you truly love her more
