The illusion of life,
It twists and turns,
Leaving you guessing, and your heart feeling burned,
Elation and happiness,
Trust and care,
Love and devotion,
Faith and religion,
Pain and cofusion,
Tears and sorrow,
Deception and lies,
No faith in tomorrow,
Learning to fly,
Then having to fall,
Do it all over again,
This time once and for all,
The lessons are learned,
As time moves on,
The battle has ended,
And life has begun.
