Queen Hustler's Hair

by Joe Moore   Mar 12, 2004

Bambi Bambi Look
the epitome of black essence
look at this sister's walk
her sway, her skin, her presence

brown sugar
sweet cream honey love
Queen hustler
true black ebony dove

she stepped to me at Subway
she asks "can you do my hair"?
inside I'm screaming hell yeah
Queen Hustler can sit in my chair

She comes in every Saturday
selling pocketbooks and earrings
has all of her goods on display
but still the epitome of a queen

then I respond
I don't give any discounts
she smiles and comes back
it must be tough coming up short
on top of being black

so I drop

sister divine
my time is the dime
and I'm mean no disrespect
but the only thing coming up short
will be the naps on the back of your neck

she laughs "to-shay"
says she'll see me at ten on Saturday

turns and sashays away

ooh wee
I'm messed up
this kind of sister is serious
confident with no baggage
not desperate or delirious

Queen Hustlers program
is solid and smooth
just on looks alone
she could have any brother she choose

Saturday morning bright and early
Queen Hustler hits the door
she sashays by softly and silky
i know not what's in store

she reaches over and strokes my hand
while I'm working on someone's hair
then takes a seat next to me
in the empty styling chair

poised and erotic
she asked "are you ready for me"?
i say if you give me a minute
so i can finish my new lady

she said "a minute is all it takes"?

i step to her and say

when you come here
leave your problems at home
why keep talking about a minute man
when you just left one all alone.

then i say stop

let's not start off the wrong way
then she said you're right
here's my number at my house
you can do my hair tonight

and she turns and sashays away

ooo wee!
brown sugar
sweet cream honey love
queen hustler
true black ebony dove

her sway, her skin, her presence
the epitome of black essence
call her sister serious
not desperate or delirious
program solid and smooth
she could have any brother she choose

and she just chose me!
