When Darkness Falls

by Twisted Heart   Sep 18, 2006

Darkness falls with haste upon the earth
Scattered shadows cast in it's birth
The raven flies in it's darkened womb
As the Master's chaos injects the tombs
Up from the deathbeds of those who wait
To hear his creature's call to sedate
The innocent, who's blood they need,
To pillage in their gluttonous greed.
The Master raises slithered snakes
Who with ebony hearts await
The feasting of the pagan child
Brought forth on the wings of fire.
With Broken halos and talon feet
The heathen brood begins to feast
From goblets of crimson wine they sip
As they draw life from the Master's kiss.
Upon the earth, comes Satan's breath
As fire and brimstone brings forth death
No unstained soul remains to fight
For all was captured in the dead of night.
