Heaven in my Arms

by myshiningstar14   Sep 18, 2006

Who knew it'd be you?
Who knew my dreams
would come true?

Who knew I'd love you?
Who knew I'd need you?

Look at the night sky,
see the stars,
there dries these cries.

Your arms around my
waist,
setting the pace,
we're standing,
gazing into one
another's faces.

They say beauty
lies in the eyes of
the beholder, but
has anyone held
you and told you:
"You're beautiful?"

Let me be your baby,
let me be your lady
because you're heaven
in my arms.

Who knew there'd be an us?
Who knew it'd be you I trust?

Who knew you'd be my boo?
Who knew it'd be your arms
I'd run to?

Smile away your tears,
take this in like a silent
cure.

Believe He can mend, baby
this isn't the end.
Won't you please trust me?

I say beauty lies, in your eyes.
Wipe those tears from that
beautiful face. Let me hold you,
while His grace, laces us in this
tender love.

Let me be your gurl,
let me be your world,
because you're heaven
in my arms.
