Heartache for both

I stand here, paralyzed
drawing myself closer to you,
now gathering the fragments
of what fell and piled up as heartache

these eyes are now closed against the pain;
and there's that one last rose on this table,
to witness the betrayal of two lovers crossed,
as the night was lost in agony

the essence of my dreams revolves around you,
sweet dreams baby, sweet dreams,
my bled dry heart aches,
and sufficates in a never ending pain,
silently dieing

in the fog it dances,
while time silently kills us,
that one blackened heart,
drowned in the sorrow of love
