Kiss Me September

by manic moments   Sep 19, 2006

Why do I whisper
When no one will ever hear me scream?
In the pews of distress, I pace
In this nightmare I call a dream

By pass bloody remains
I see your face in the day
I once wept away your words of hatred
This is the day of nothing to say

Kiss me tomorrow, today, last night
In the dead of night, breathing of a begging date
Shuffle a cause in between
Bloodied in last week's hate

Don't worry no more, hate is cut in
I can see the scar, a memory to be
Remembering a day tomorrow can't replace
Tomorrow, today, last night, kiss me

I can't let a care hurt yesterday
Tripped into darkness, my cold eyes
Burden of a remedy that makes silence
Yet I am still the living lies

Words I can write to make light appear
I'll decide to forget an answer I hate to remember
And yet I'll still listen to the wind pass me by
As I fade away, back to the month of kissing, September

Kiss me September
