First love hurts

I remember a few years ago
my brother and his love broke up
i told him it was ok
and he will find another one
my mom was in tears
because my brother was so crushed
she looked me in the eyes
and said someday your gonna fall in love
then get crushed
i tolder her not to worry
cause i knew better
for i would find another
but not until
i fell in love
and got crushed
did i relize its not that easy at all
your first love is your most memorable
for first loves will never fad
but what i didnt relize is
it causes so much pain
i remember waking up
that first night after we broke up
and bursting into tears
because my heart felt so empty
and i just wanted to give up...
