Memoirs of a Teardrop

by Twisted Heart   Sep 19, 2006

A teardrop is but a thought in your heart
That reaches deep in your soul
It leaves broken pieces that's fallen apart
And collected to fill up a hole.

Into misty notions the thought is at hand
To gather in dust over time
In whispers of heartache, you try to stand
And wipe hurtful thoughts from your mind.

Too many days have passed, now you seek
A place to find comfort and hope
You lay down your head and you try to sleep
For thoughts have left you too weary to cope.

A final sigh's heard from your trembling lips
As the last teardrop falls down your cheek
No longer to ponder the fate of it's kiss
As it rests in your soul for eternity.

Another good poem that rhymes and has good flow and rythm apart from the fact that the last line doesnt rhyme
is there a reason for this that I somehow missed

But hey who am I to judge I still admire your depth and insight into feelings
