In a house where no ones home
She wakes to the sound of the phone
Turns the stereo up way too loud
As the house is surrounded by a dark cloud
Her mother opens the door
Shes home, and starts to roar
The girl does all she can
But no matter what she just cant win
Screams are heard two blocks down
She tries to drown out the sounds
The girl is trembling
The mother is yelling
Tears roll down her cheeks
She opens her mouth but cant speak
Slams the door
And bursts into tears
Tries not to hear
Her words filled with pain
That cause the tears to fall down like rain
