I hear it echo in my veins
It pounds in every heartbeat
I hear it in the rain

I speak it in my sleep
And it whispers in each breath I take
It resounds in every action
In every move I make

It's the reason why the sky is blue
It's why stars shine at night
It's the pot at the end of the rainbow
It's colour, darkness and light

It's the howling of the wind
And it's the white of the snow
It's the beauty of a sunrise
It's everywhere I go

I'm sitting all alone
And I have nothing to do
Except write you some poetry
