Wedding Vows

by rachel   Sep 20, 2006

In the wedding chapel, a sacred vow was made,
to love and Honor each other was what they both said.
Promise to be true in good times and i bad,
cherished the love that they both had shared.

Do you take this ring as a sign of our love?
Witnessed by many and from God above?
She said, confidently to him, yes i do,
a vow that was made, from me to you.

Time flew by, and feelings changed,
and now their love was nothing more than a game.
Hatred grew and the emotions ran,
Soon, their love was put to an end.

What happened to forever? In sickness and in health?
Two souls joined together, now one for itself.
No strings attached, the ties are now broken.
The vows proclaimed, are now forsaken.
